Andrea SoRelle is a Senior Consultant based in Marsden’s Houston office covering Texas and other US markets. A Houston native, with decades of experience in the legal sector, Andrea has expertise in lateral partner placements, including group moves and office openings. Andrea’s practice encompasses retained, exclusive and contingent searches for renowned international, national and regional law firms across Texas and the US. She has consistently achieved outstanding results for both her clients and candidates throughout her career.
Andrea works closely with senior management and executive committee members of law firms to develop their talent acquisition strategy and execute office opening initiatives. She is a trusted strategic advisor to many lateral partners in Houston regarding both current lateral moves and longer-view career planning. Both clients and candidates value Andrea’s deep market knowledge, her firm ethical base and honesty, and her tenacious determination to effect the best possible results for them.
Prior to joining Marsden, Andrea spent many years as a Managing Director for a prominent Houston based lateral partner search firm where she worked on the office openings of Latham & Watkins, Sidley Austin, Winston & Strawn, and Reed Smith, among other retained and contingent searches. Previously, Andrea was an associate in the Global Energy and Infrastructure practice group of a leading global executive search firm where she worked on senior level national and international searches across the energy value chain.
